Hartford, CT – Bob Stefanowski continues to make false claims about Connecticut utility rates. But the facts show that CT has some of the lowest rates in the Northeast.
- Connecticut among the lowest electric rates in the Northeast – lower than Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island. [CT Insider, 10/29/22]
- The state’s Millstone deal “looks even better now” as it’s fixed price agreed to in the 2019 contract helps consumers avoid commodity price swings and led to a “significant” drop in electrical rates that took place in September. [Hartford Courant, 5/31/22]
- Governor Lamont requires companies to help protect consumers from big market spikes, making Connecticut utility rates among the lowest in New England. [WBUR, 9/8/22]
