Voters Saw More Evidence that Bob Stefanowski Will Take CT Backwards, and Gov Lamont Clear Choice to Keep Moving Us Forward

Hartford, CT — Today on the debate stage, voters saw how Governor Lamont has led our state with responsible management and Connecticut values.
“Governor Ned Lamont showed that he will continue to move Connecticut forward, and Bob Stefanowski will take us backward. He has taken the state from fiscal crisis to fiscal turnaround while making historic investments in our future. Seeing the potential dangers of COVID-19, he led Connecticut to base-in-the-nation in our response. At a time when residents needed more money in their pockets, he delivered historic tax cuts. And in the face of extremist justices overturning Roe, Gov. Lamont has defended and expanded reproductive rights here at home. He has kept our families safe with investments in public safety, crime prevention, and commonsense gun control — all while getting our fiscal house in order. That’s what voters saw today,” said Lamont campaign spokesperson Jake Lewis.
