Hartford, CT – Planned Parenthood Votes! Connecticut threw their support behind Governor Ned Lamont and Lt. Governor Susan Bysiewicz for election.
Planned Parenthood Votes! Connecticut is the advocacy and social welfare arm of Planned Parenthood of Southern New England. The organization defends reproductive rights and ensures equitable access to sexual and reproductive health care for all people in Connecticut who rely on Planned Parenthood.
“I am proud to earn the endorsement of Planned Parenthood Votes! Connecticut. We’re going to stand up for reproductive rights no matter what. We’ve got radicals on the Supreme Court in our state who are determined to roll back our rights– not on my watch. As long as Susan and I are here we are proud to have Planned Parenthood Votes! Connecticut as a partner in the fight to protect and expand access to safe reproductive care. Together, we passed the Safe Harbor law, making it crystal clear that Connecticut honors the right to choose, and I am eager to continue our efforts to protect it,” said Governor Ned Lamont.
